HALF DAY TRAINING | #PolicyProtected Training Online on Zoom
June 28, 2025 12:00-5:00pm EST
Hosted by PUSH Louisville with support from PolicyLink
Tenant leaders, organizers, and allies of progressive housing policy are invited to attend this free online training! Tenant leaders and organizers in Louisville, KY successfully organized to write and pass a pioneering policy that gives tenants political power to fight back against rising housing costs, housing discrimination, wrongful property seizure, and more. This unique policy required the creation of the world's first Anti-Displacement Assessment Tool, which ensures that public resources for housing are used for affordable housing and not luxury apartments. This policy transparent and effective tool is one part of how this policy ensures areas that are vulnerable to increases in housing costs are policy protected from government-subsidized gentrification.
